petal is a boutique owned by flamine galbraith.  she opened petal in 2003 after moving back to jacksonville after living in atlanta for 7 years.  she wanted to bring a more feminine, flirty and fun style to her hometown.  that same year petal was featured in Lucky magazine's annual "the best in clothing" edition stating that "with a simple, clean look and tendancy to stock limited quantities of each item... while catering to a broad spectrum of women".
